She Wouldn't Pay Her Bills — So the State Took Her PFD
- In 2022, Shoreside Petroleum sued Wilson, her mother, and her trash company Denali Disposal over unpaid fuel bills.
- Wilson never answered the complaint in time. The court entered a default judgment of roughly $57,000 against her.
- To collect, the state garnished her Permanent Fund Dividend two years running — 2023 and 2024. Her mother's PFD was garnished too.
- Wilson now runs the loudest campaign in Alaska for paying out a full statutory PFD. Hers had to be seized to pay a court judgment.
